   its not really not important accessorie it does the purpose but it makes the view finder smaller

   this eyepiece is great if you have a T1i camer get this eyepiece stop face hitting lcd and view picture and shoots look the same to me very little diffence view is a hair smaller then stock view but well worth it do you self a faver and get this eyepiece

   Very good eyepiece for the Canon XSI. It gives extra space to view your picture without rubbing the LCD with
   
   your nose or face. This helps keep the LCD clean and free from body oil and smudges.

   This is the Correct Eyepiece Extender for a Canon Rebel EOS XS. the EP-EX15 will not fit the XS. it’s too wide for the body of the Camera… trust me i bought this one first and had to return it for the EP-EX15II….just received it from Amazon and it fit perfectly on my Rebel XS…i wear glasses and got tired of my nose being on the screen…the other eyepiece extenders on Amazon claim to fit the XS but they don’t…. trust me buy this one and you’ll be happy you did…always buy Canon accessories except when it comes to batteries you won’t go wrong…. thanks to another reviewer biodiesel bob for the info…

   this product is awsum i was weary from other negative reviews but this isnt anything close to the way they say it worked out for them…u sihcerely gotta try this product
